The speech act of request can be realised in various ways and forms, both directly and indirectly. The realization of request very much depends on the speakers`s pragmatic knowledge which can be divided into two kinds declarative and procedural. Declarative pragmative knowledge includes Jive components linguistic knowledge, speech act knowledge, discourse knowledge social culfural knowledge, contertual knowledge, and world knowledge. Procedural knowledge include trhee elements contextual analysis and problem formularism, verbal planning, and monitoring. Both knowledges do not only determine the realization of requests but also the degree of request intention.
