Abstract

Since two decades LAPAN has launched many kinds of ballistic and guided rockets known as RX and RKX serials. In designing of rockets (flight vehicles), there are two factors must be watched: the structure is lighter and stronger. Base of the factors, this paper describes an analysis of weight of rocket RX100 power supply with low thrust approach. The result shows that for 289 kgf thrust the ideal mass of power supply ranges between 3.2 - 32.9 kgs. Meanwhile, the weight of the power supply rocket RX 100 is 25.3 kg. Therefore, it is concluded that the weight design of rocket RX100 is good enough.
