Gender differences in the aspect of spoken English language and the explanation generated the differences are two primary concerns explored in this study. From the observation conducted towards male and female lecturers of English Department at Bina Nusantara University, the writer discovers that male and female lecturers do emphasize different language features through the preference of vocabulary and the usage of complete or incomplete sentences. From the analysis of questionnaire distributed, the writer notices that respondents prefer the Differences Explanation offering the concept that male and female originate from different world to explain the differences in male and female language usage.
