Abstract

This study developes a model of batch scheduling involving interruption time as a proportion<br/>of production machinery run by criteria of minimizing total actual flow time. This model is considered<br/>necessary in order to understand the effect of the interruption of the machine in various proportions<br/>production run and to see the effect on the schedule. Results of this study indicate that if the hose is<br/>getting close to the machine unavailability due date, batch number will be more and more. We give a<br/>hypothetical example of how the models and algorithms developed complete the problem examples.
