Abstract

Feature detection is a method for taking abstract information called features in an image and confirming whether there are the features on other images or not. One application of feature detection is object detection. This study aims to describe how to detect visual object at high speed, which is applied to the problem of traffic signs detection. In this study, the application was developed for the detection of traffic signs, which can be used on a moving vehicle, using the speeded up robust features (SURF) algorithm.
